About Brian

Brian’s infectious energy and passion for kindness has touched the lives of over 2.5 million people across the globe.

As a 4th degree black belt in martial arts, Brian learned early on that true strength lies not in physical prowess, but in the power of compassion. His childhood martial arts instructor instilled in him the belief that “Kindness is the ultimate form of self-defense,” shaping Brian into what he playfully calls a “Kindness Ninja”

Brian’s mission is to inspire youth and those who lead them. With his dynamic personality and charismatic approach, he’s not just talking about making a difference – he’s creating movements. His 15 Days of Kindness challenge has schools competing to see who can spread the most positivity, resulting in noticeable decreases in bullying incidents.

But Brian’s impact extends far beyond the classroom. He’s collected over 300,000 pairs of shoes for those in need, produced award-winning humanitarian documentaries, and made 14 trips to Kenya to carry out global acts of kindness. His efforts haven’t gone unnoticed, earning him national media exposure on MTV, USA Today, CBS Sunday Morning and recognition from President Donald Trump for his dedication to inspiring service among our nation’s youth.

What sets Brian apart is his hands-on approach. He’s not content with merely inspiring from afar – he rolls up his sleeves and gets involved. Whether he’s working with students, counselors, principals, or teachers, Brian provides practical ideas and resources to foster cultures of kindness.

Brian’s message is simple yet powerful: everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has the ability to positively impact someone’s life. His enthusiasm is contagious, his methods are effective, and his results speak for themselves. If you’re looking for someone to ignite a spark of compassion in your community, Brian Williams might just be the Kindness Leader you need.

Brian said, "Want some ideas on how to inspire kindness in your school? Get out a pen & paper" - then for 20 minutes raddled off, no joke, over a page of ideas for our staff! We could barely keep up. He knows his stuff!

Totally fine, in fact, that is more common than not. Ideally, we’d prefer the assemblies are booked back-to-back if possible.
