Need Your Help: Send Birthday Cards to A Sick Little Boy

I was just recently notified by a friend from up north, that there is a little boy in Foxboro, Massachusetts that has an unusual request for his birthday. He doesn’t want any presents, he just wants birthday cards.

This little boy’s name is Danny Nickerson and he is five years old and will be celebrating his birthday this Friday.

He is such a sweet little boy.

Unfortunately, he was diagnosed last October with an inoperable cancerous tumor in his brain. Doctors say children with this condition have less than a 10% chance of surviving longer than 18 months.

Due to the nature of his extensive chemotherapy treatments, his parents pulled him out of kindergarten.
Since he is home most of the time, he sometimes gets lonely.

When asked what he wanted for his 6th birthday, he asked for birthday cards. He loves going to the post office box and looking for cards and letters addressed to him.

Calling All Kindness Warriors
After learning about this little guy, I called on my students and parents to be Kindness Warriors and send this boy a birthday card by this Friday. I call them my warriors, because my students and parents know that I expect all of my students to train in Kindness.

Why?

Because kindness is the ultimate self defense! And what better way to help brighten the day of this little boy battling Cancer!

So, I am asking anyone reading this blog to be a Kindness Warrior too by sending a birthday card or letter.

His address is:
Danny Nickerson
Post Office Box 212
Foxboro, MA 02035

But hurry, his birthday is this Friday, July 25th.

And, spread the word. Let’s see if we can inspire hundreds of Kindness Warriors around the globe to make Danny Nickerson’s 6th birthday a special one!

You will feel great!

I promise!
