We are super excited about our next opportunity to spread some kindness throughout some school in Kingston Jamaica! If you’ve been wanting to volunteer, but found it hard to take a 15 day trip to Africa, this just might be the trip for you.

THE MISSION OF THE TRIP
Our mission is to teach classes, host a kindness assembly and bring shoes, school and athletic supplies to inner-city school in Kingston Jamaica. This is Think Kindness’ first trip to Jamaica, so this team will also be a research team to better assess how our organization can partner with the communities and schools to create lasting change.
We have partnered with Devon Harris, the Captain of the infamous 1988 Jamaica Bobsled team as featured in the movie ‘Cool Runnings’. He also founded the non-profit ‘Keep On Pushing‘ which provides support to impoverished schools throughout Jamaica. Devon will be joining our team and will be making the connections with schools throughout the community he was raised. Plus, we’ll even be visiting the same elementary school he attended as a kid!
The trip is scheduled for April 26th – May 2nd.
We don’t have a set-in-stone itinerary yet as we are waiting to assess the skills of the travelers coming. We always try to adapt the schedule to best use the skillsets, talents and education of our volunteers. However, we are planning on having 3 days of volunteering, 3 days of tourist activities and 1 day of travel.
The trip will be $1,500 – $2,000 (will have exact numbers in 3 weeks). This includes airfare, lodging, transportation, 3 daily meals + tourist activities.
SPACE IS LIMITED TO 7 TOTAL TRAVELERS
