Orion is a 5th grade student from Fort Worth, TX. After only receiving 24 hours notice of the National Speech Contest, Orion wrote, practiced, memorized and recorded a winning 90 second kindness speech! Impressed? I am!

The premise of the National Kindness Speech Contest was to give students a platform to not only let their voices be heard, but to let them inspire thousands, maybe millions of people! Over 85 students from across North America submitted to our National Kindness Speech Contest, then our panel of judges narrowed down the entries to the top 20. From their, each contestant was paired with a professional youth speaker to help them improve their speech before going public.

Orion went back, refined, practiced and resubmitted his speech for America to vote. . . and won!
