We Partnered With Frito-Lay Variety Packs

When a national brand calls and says, “How can we work together to inspire more kindness during this back-to-school year?” . . . our minds exploded with ideas. But this wasn’t just any-ole national brand, it was Frito-Lay Variety Packs, a Pepsi Co company! And for me, whenever I think of the Variety Packs, ironically – I always think about kindness.

For me, whenever I purchase the variety packs, it’s always for a birthday, family gathering, BBQ or camping trip. I would purchase them with the sole intention of sharing and giving them away. But everytime I purchase them I’m also taken back to when I was a child in the 5th grade. My dad would pack my lunch, I’d grab it off the kitchen table in the morning, toss it in my back pack and head to school. At 10:15 we the bell would ring for our 1st recess, aka snack time.  

During the short walk from my desk to my cubby, I would wonder, “What chips did I get today?”

Kindness + School are the two big associations I make whenever I see Frito-Lay Variety Packs in the store. 

And now – we are inspiring kindness on over 250 MILLION bags across the country. Each bag of Frito-Lay Variety Packs features a specific kindness challenge. Anything from “Help someone in need” to “Stand up for someone”. Each bag provides a unique, fun and creative kindness idea.
